Dolby Atmos: La Boheme
An immersive reconstruction of the Café Momus scene from Act II of Puccini’s La Bohème. Created as an independent study project at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, this work reimagines a traditional operatic environment through spatial audio and sound design. By combining environmental soundscapes with a newly recorded vocal performance, the project places listeners inside the bustling streets of Paris, transforming the audience from observers into participants within the scene. For the full immersive experience, headphones are strongly recommended. Faculty Advisor Dr. Doug McCausland (TAC Department) Special Thanks Vuyiswa Sigadi (Vocal Performance) Aaron Hong (Vocal Performance)
